I was worried she would be sad that it happened while I was gone. She lost it at school and got to go to the nurse's office, where the nurse gave her a special necklace to hold her tooth. She was basically a celebrity. So no, she was not sad. Not one bit.
Her other bottom tooth was also loose and Mike figured it would be out in the next few weeks. Or exactly one week later. Quinn worked and worked on wiggling that tooth. Then last night at dinner, she started crying because it was annoying her. So she and Mike decided to tie some floss around it and pop it out. And just like that, she has a two tooth gap.
Meanwhile, Fiona's top and bottom front teeth are in and we've moved on to the teeth right next to them. Three out of the four of them have fallen out and she continues her streak of sporting holes for quite a while. Her adult teeth take their sweet time coming in. The latest one fell out just a couple weeks ago while we were at our favorite babysitter's birthday party. She was eating dinner and out came the tooth. I didn't even know it was loose!
It seems to be the spring of the tooth fairy. It may not be the summer of corn on the cob.
