32 weeks

We had a baby appointment this morning. Everything went well and Baby V passed its biophysical profile and non-stress test. I'm not really sure what all that means, but passing means that I don't go on bedrest or to the hospital - so we like passing! The doctors were happy with what they saw for breathing, muscle tone, heart rate, and all.

We also did get to meet with the neurosurgeon last Friday. He was wonderful! It was a short consultation and we didn't really hear much that we hadn't already known, but it was reassuring to meet with him nonetheless. He made us feel good about Baby's prognosis and recovery.

Here is Baby V's little face (and CHUBBY cheeks) at 32 weeks. Enjoy!

Love the picture, crazy big cheecks!! Passing the biophysical (those markers) is an 8/8 and means that the baby is growing good and doing what it should at 32 weeks. Passing a NST means that there were no deacclerations in the heart beat. All this means is that the baby is NOT in distress. Keep it up! I am working on my advice email to you!! Coming soon!
