Mike took this video of Fiona today when we were at the hospital visiting. She is sound asleep, which makes it even funnier.
We are on schedule to have her shunt surgery tomorrow and then, assuming all goes well, she will be home this coming weekend. We can't wait to have her here.
It's hard to leave her each day and it's hard to divide our time between spending as much as possible with her and taking care of adult things like lawn care, eating, and sleeping. But we see very little babies daily who will be in the hospital much longer than our sweetheart and are reminded that in the grand scheme of things, she's worth the wait.

Whenever we were there with Nate there was always some little baby who was so much sicker to keep things in perspective. I have never lost sight of that, and still think of those babies and wonder what ever happened to them.
This video is SO PRECIOUS!!
You're doing great. She'll be home in your arms ready to fill your house with love as well as all the sights, sounds, and smells of new parenthood!
