Quinn was so excited for us to see her graduation ceremony today and she's so ready to be a kinder. Fiona is a little more emotional about the end of the year. She has loved kindergarten and isn't sure she wants to move up. She is, however, clear that she is ready for summer! Her very full brain needs a few weeks off to recharge! Fifty sight words in a year is no joke!
Quinn told us that her favorite thing to do at school was coloring and the sensory table. Her favorite thing to learn was writing and reading. She loved her teachers and she says she's most excited to meet her Kindergarten teacher this fall. She has grown up so much this year and gained so much confidence in herself. It's been fun watching her navigate her school and her friendships her own way.

Fiona said her favorite part of school is math - especially addition of big numbers. Her favorite thing about school was her teacher. She has a goal to read eight books this summer through a program with Barnes & Noble, so she can earn a free book. Fiona has really grown up this year too. She loved her after school program and we can see the influence of the big kids in her vocabulary (slang. not swearing) and her attitude (tweenager). She's very excited for Quinn to join her next year!

Fi especially looks so much older! I love that her favorite thing is math!!!! I am doing a Summer Reading program through Usborne where they collect pledges and when they've read 300 hours I give them a free book and certificate And 100% of their pledges is theirs to get them new Usborne books.
