Gramp Rapids: The Fourth

As we do, we went to the cabin on the Fourth. Someday, our children may ask about the parades, festivals, and fireworks that others see on the holiday. Or more likely, they won't. Because a day at the cabin is no slouch for fun!

Our kids were vacation warriors this year! We got out to the cabin around 11:00 and didn't leave until 8:00 that night. We were in the lake pretty much the whole time! The cousins enjoyed the floatie, although Anna admitted it was not quite the relaxing experience she had envisioned. But oh the happiness of the short cousins - the floatie was their very own water trampoline!

Before we headed out for the night, we took one more pontoon ride. Both Quinn and Declan took a turn driving and had the biggest smiles on their faces. I could write so many words about the fun day we had. But in this case, pictures show it better than I could ever tell it.
