Fall Weather Fun

It's been a beautiful October so far. Mike may even say it's been too hot - but the rest of us are enjoying it and ignoring him. The weather has been so good that our fall yard work should be done by now. But instead, we've gone to the corn maze, the pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating at the campground ... pretty much everything except yard work.

Last week, Mike even got the leaf blower out. To blow a huge pile of leaves to the end of the slide so the people could slide down into a pile of joy ... or leaves ... except when Mike then blew the leaves over to the base of the swing and then they could swing through them. In trying to keep the pile deep enough to support the head-first sliding antics, we've probably raked the whole yard a couple times. I guess you have to actually pick them up too in order to clear out the yard.

Hopefully the good weather continues because we have lots of yard work to do. Unless we stay the current course and just do fun stuff instead! It's so very tempting!
